Bill is a lifelong conservative Republican and a member of the St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Clear Lake. He has been married for 15 years to his wife Roxanne, and has a 13-year old son named Grayson.
He has spent the past eight years managing regular season and tournament teams for NASA Area Little League and NASA Pony Baseball. His wife Roxanne is a graduate of Louisiana State University and works part-time as a Dental Hygienist in the Clear Lake area.

Bill Moore is a 1985 graduate of Villanova University, and a 1988 graduate of the Texas Tech School of Law. He has spent his entire 19-year legal career serving the citizens of Harris County as an Assistant District Attorney with the Harris County District Attorney's Office.

In addition, he served over 10 years as a Chief Prosecutor in the Special Crimes Bureau of the Harris County District Attorney's Office. During that time he practiced in all 22 Harris County Criminal District Courts, and prosecuted hundreds of organized crime cases and complex financial frauds.
Bill Moore also served as the Deputy Chief of the Misdemeanor Division at the Harris County District Attorney's Office, supervising over 40 attorneys and their support staff.

Bill was awarded a 2002 Houston Police Department Commendation for the successful prosecution of 22 organized crime cases following a two year undercover sting operation.
Bill currently serves the citizens of Harris County as the Felony Chief Prosecutor in the 232nd District Court prosecuting Murder and Capital Murder cases.
